Our Northview Community needs your help.  West Oakview's PTC is in need of volunteer babysitters for its meeting.  If you do not have anything going on the following dates, please consider helping.

Northview Park Pool Fall Preparation

Join members of the Northville Pool Association as they prepare for fall. Help is needed at the Northview pool to put away chairs and umbrellas for the season.  Volunteers will work for two hours - 9:00-1100.

September 5 Meeting

Thank you for attending the NJHS early morning meeting.  The officers covered important information.  If you missed any of the dates, click on this September 5 PowerPoint.

Reminder:  If you are helping Ms. Malloure with the Grand River Clean Up this coming Saturday, please return form ASAP.  Plan on wearing something with Northview on it.

Gilda's Club

Gilda's Club Grand Rapids provides free emotional healthcare to families and friends who are faced with cancer or grieving the death of someone in their life due to any cause.  Each night people, young and old, come to Gilda's for special programming including dinner.

NJHS have the opportunity to help an amazing organization. We have two upcoming dates: April 24 and May 22. As a group, we need to prepare a meal including the main dish, side dish, salad, and dessert for 80 people.  There are several ways you can help:

1. Make a momentary donation to go towards the meal
2. Prepare a dish or two
3. Come serve and clean up.

Please consider helping with one or more of the options.  We are thinking of making various casseroles for the main dish.  To feed 80 people, we need approximately 10 casseroles,  6 large salads with toppings, as well as desserts.  Please go to sign up genius. www.SignUpGenius.com/go/10C0545A4AD22A0F94-gildas3

If you are making a monetary donation, please give to Mrs. Vogel by October 18.  If you are making a dish or bringing food items, you may drop office in the main office before 2:00 on October 24 or December 13.

We need two adult drivers and 6 to 8 student to prepare, serve, and clean up.  Meet at Crossroads in Mrs. Vogel's room at 3:00.  Our arrival time back to Crossroads is roughly 6:45.
