Fun Service Opportunities!
Attention all current members. We need your help! Please sign up to share your knowledge of and experience with National Junior Honor Society with prospective new members. Here's the sign up genius. We will have a meeting Monday morning during Advisory for ALL presenters to discuss your role and practice the presentation. Please come to the art room immediately after Announcements.

Valentine's for Vets Volunteers Needed!
NJHS Annual Valentines for Vets project needs you! This Group activity is soooo fun and meaningful. Bring joy to those who have served our country! Four NJHS members and a parent driver are needed this coming Monday, January 13th to travel from Crossroads to the Vet Hospital in Wyoming right after school. Important! Induction Ceremony Coming Up!
Hello Everyone!
The 2016 Induction Ceremony is rapidly approaching. Here are the details:
When: Wednesday, October 5, 7am rehearsal, 7pm Ceremony
Where: High School PAC both am and pm. Get dropped off at HS and be IN the auditorium no later than 7am for the rehearsal. We will walk to Crossroads in time for 2nd hour.
What: This Ceremony welcomes new members and is MANDATORY
Family and Friends are encouraged to attend.
Reception in the lobby immediately following the ceremony.
Dressy Casual attire

Double check your class schedule and make sure you are assigned WILSON for 1st hour Advisory. ALL 7th grade NJHS members should be in WILSON advisory. We will use Advisory time to do lots of NJHS activities so it's important that you are enrolled in the correct 1st hour. If your current schedule has a different teacher for 1st hour, just come to my classroom- the art room for 1st hour on the first day of school and we will fix it!😊

Hi Everyone!
Thank you sooooo much to everyone that signed up to help with Reg Day and launch party! We are good to go on both accounts! I may have to move a few of you around to cover all the bases, but I know you won't mind!
Please be sure to stop by the NJHS Info table in the gym in between your other Registration tasks and volunteer duties. You will have an opportunity to find out how to order NJHS merch and start to log your volunteer hours from the summer.
Can't wait to see you on Monday!

I need a few parents to help out. So, students, ask your parents if they can lend a hand!!!
Here's what we need:
1. An awesome keynote speaker from the community to get us jazzed for another fun year of doing good for others!
2. A really cool printed event program that highlights all you wonderful New Members!
3. Fabulous stage decorations, not that you aren't groovy enough to look at, but hey, setting the stage is important!
4. Yummy reception refreshments- who doesn't like cookies, right?
5. Reception setup and cleanup- a quick job with so many eager NJHS members around!
PARENTS: If this sounds like something you can help out with please send me an email, kwilson@nvps.net, or stop by and see me at Crossroads during registration on August 29.
